Engineers India Limited invites Construction Contractors for Enlistment with Engineers India Ltd. List of trade categories/ disciplines of works is enclosed.

Agencies desirous of getting enlisted with us should submit their experience details for our preliminary review at the address given below or e-mail pdd@eil.co.in. The agencies if found suitable to meet our requirements will be advised to purchase Data Booklet, which may be obtained on payment of Rs.5000/- (Rupees Five thousand only). Interested agencies will request the undersigned alongwith a Crossed Demand Draft, of Rs.5000/- (Rupees Five thousand only) drawn in favour of Engineers India Ltd., New Delhi for issue of Data Booklet.

The following may please be noted before requesting for enlistment:

• Agencies who are submitting offers regularly against EIL Tender notifications are also advised to purchase above data booklet and submit the information in prescribed format for Enlistment.

• Agencies whose annual turnover/value of work completed against single work order is less than minimum value required for enlistment (as specified in list of trade categories), need not apply.

• Agency who has negative networth in latest financial year as per audited balance sheet will not be enlisted. Similarly agencies, who are not found technically acceptable by concerned Engg. Deptt. shall not be considered for enlistment.

• Processing Charges will be collected @ 50% of rate for new enlistment in advance (non- refundable) alongwith the submission of Data Booklet and balance 50% to be paid prior to issue of enlistment letter. Agencies are, therefore, requested to check their eligibility as per details given in enclosed Annexure before requesting for enlistment and making 50% payment as advance payment. In case agency is not found suitable for enlistment, advance payment is not refundable. In case any agency is getting new enlistment simultaneously for more than one category, charges for new enlistment will be considered for a category with higher amount and other categories will be considered as additional new categories.

• Agencies, who are enlisted, will continue to be in Data Bank subject to satisfactory performance only and they may be put on Holiday if unsatisfactory performance feed back is received. However, revalidation will be required for all agencies after three years of date of issue of enlistment letter.

• Enlistment of any agency will not be done till satisfactory performance feed back is received from the owner of qualifying job and in case, such feed back is not received for six months despite reminders to the intending contractors from the date of application, file for enlistment of such contractors will be closed.

• In case of incomplete documentation received, an agency will be given opportunity to complete balance data. However, in cases where an agency is not able to furnish complete data within period of six months from the date of application, such cases will be closed.
